An international exemplar in cocktail culture
Javier de las Muelas, a trendsetter, is considered an exemplar in the world of cocktails. Even though all of his premises have their own personality, they all work under the same philosophy: to create unique experiences and sensations with genuine products considered part of the gourmet cuisine trend.
For this, Javier de las Muelas placed his characteristic seal of quality on the mixture of tradition, class and elegance, with innovation and intelligent creativity. He is founder of the cocktail bar Gimlet and proprietor on the celebrated Dry Martini in Barcelona, considered one of the best bars in the world with a hidden restaurant Speakeasy and other restaurants Casa Fernandez, Montesquiu and The Academy, in which apart from cocktails, are dedicated to other gastronomic experiences.
Following the spirit that characterises himself, he created Dry by Javier de las Muelas in the Gran Meliá Fenix Madrid, Dry San Sebastián at the Maria Cristina Hotel and recently he inaugurated Dry by Javier de las Muelas in the Gran Meliá Victoria Palma de Mallorca.
Recently he has consolidated alliances: the first, with Four Seasons Resort, a project which was started in the Sundara Cocktail Beach Club of the resort in bay of Jimbaran, Bali, and secondly, with Paradores Turismo de España starting in Aiguablava (Costa Brava) with the new Restaurant and Cocktail Bar Mar i Vent.
Furthermore, Javier often delivers presentations in various cities in Spain and abroad, in places such as Madrid, Barcelona, San Sebastián, Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Singapore, Abu Dhabi. He also runs courses and conferences in different universities such as IESE, ESADE…
